Official Launch Introduces Cast Line-Up, Official Poster and Teaser Trailer to the Public

 

 

Kuala Lumpur, 15 September 2026 – Something terrifying awaits audiences in the latest horror film, Pemuja Syaitan, directed by Liyana Jasmay and officially unveiled to the public today. The exclusive event featured the reveal of the cast line-up, the launch of the official poster, and an exclusive screening of the teaser trailer, offering an early glimpse into the mysterious and dark story that will be brought to the big screen.

 

The main cast of Pemuja Syaitan leading the film comprises Zul Ariffin, Elizabeth Tan, Nadhir Nasar and Aila Azizul. The four actors will bring the central characters to life in this mysterious and dark story. Bringing together actors from different backgrounds and generations is expected to add further appeal to a story filled with questions and unexpected events.

 

Completing the cast are Rosdeen Subuh, Dee Al Hadi, Yusuf Amin, Atoi Tohet, Selena Jasmay, Marsha Biddulph, Hakim Khan, Nat Aaliyah, Aida Amron, Ellyza Azizi and Dhabita Auji, who will bring the supporting characters to life throughout the story.

Pemuja Syaitan follows a group of former school friends who reunite on a remote island to reminisce about old memories. Their reunion takes a turn when they rediscover a time capsule buried many years ago, reopening secrets that have long been kept hidden.

 

What begins as a reunion turns into a terrifying experience when they encounter mysterious events that are difficult to explain. As they try to find answers, they begin to realise that the island may be hiding something far darker than they ever imagined.

 

According to Liyana Jasmay, the Director:

As a director, I want to ensure that every element of the story is conveyed effectively, especially in building the tension and atmosphere that will keep audiences wondering what will happen next.
