KUTUKAN ILMU HITAM
The story revolves around a traditional medicine practitioner named Rewan who cannot accept the death of his wife. Rewan begins to plead with Mbah Usu Lijah, his mentor in traditional medicine, because he knows Mbah Usu Lijah possesses the knowledge to resurrect the deceased without their spirit through a book owned by Mbah Usu Lijah. However, Mbah Usu Lijah refuses to allow it to happen unless Rewan is willing to go through several phases or periods of time. Rewan’s impatience reaches its peak, leading him to steal the book and kill Mbah Usu Lijah.
Before all these events unfolded, Rewan had instructed his only son, Yamin, to leave the village to avoid any undesirable occurrences due to his behavior. After 10 years, Yamin married a girl named Ardila and lived peacefully with her. However, Yamin kept his family secret by stating that his parents had long passed away.

Character Introduction
Yamin (Zahiril) – Yamin, Rewan’s 28-year-old son. Yamin was instructed by Rewan to leave the village and was prohibited from returning to avoid his father’s dark magic curse. Aware of this, Yamin had to conceal his father’s existence from everyone, including his wife Ardila.
Ardila (Elvina) – Ardila, aged 27, is Yamin’s wife. Their life as a married couple was initially very happy, but after the arrival of an old man (Saka Rewan), who asked Yamin to return to the village to see his sick father, it made her wonder because according to Yamin, his father had passed away. Ardila insisted on meeting Rewan, but Yamin refused to do so. After Rewan’s death was confirmed, they returned to the village and eventually faced many problems. Ardila is the heir to the book of dark magic.

Anom (Eriza) – Anom, an 18-year-old girl, was taken care of by her grandmother, Mbah Usu Lijah, after her parents’ death when she was 10. After her grandmother’s death, Anom was taken in as an adopted daughter by Rewan. Rewan was a student of Mbah Usu Lijah in traditional medicine. Anom has her own mission: to reclaim the book stolen by Rewan, which belonged to her ancestors.
Rewan (Sahronizam) – Rewan, 60 years old, is a famous traditional medicine practitioner who helps his fellow villagers. After his wife’s death, Rewan began to study black magic from the book owned by Mbah Usu Lijah. Rewan is willing to do anything, including killing his teacher, as long as he can have the book. This is because Rewan has been cursed by Mbah Usu Lijah, and his whole family will not find peace.
Rewan (Sahronizam) – Rewan, 60 years old, is a famous traditional medicine practitioner who helps his fellow villagers. Mbah Usu Lijah (Ruminah Sidek) – A village midwife who practices traditional medicine. The 80-year-old man is the heir to that black magic book. The book also contains knowledge on reviving the dead, which is what Rewan wants to bring his wife back to life. Mbah Usu Lijah died because of being killed by Rewan and bequeathed Anom to reclaim the book.
Sarom (Along) – A village mechanic who was entrusted by Rewan to bring honey to his house. However, upon arriving at Rewan’s house, he was surprised to hear the news of Rewan’s death.
