PERJALANAN PEMBUKTIAN CINTA

SYNOPSIS

Fathia Qonita is a hafizah (a memorizer of the Quran) who dedicates her life at a religious boarding school not far from the city. However, it turns out her life is not always beautiful and happy. She must face the bitter reality that her father is asking her to marry an older man named Satya Kuncoro, who is a benefactor of the religious boarding school and also her father’s friend. Naturally, Fathia rejects this request; she refuses to be arranged in marriage with Satya, especially since Satya already has a wife. Destiny says otherwise. Her rejection is ignored, and a debt of gratitude and wealth makes her father determined, forcing his eldest daughter to marry the older man. The decision for her to become the second wife is conditional, requiring the approval and blessing of the first wife.
In facing this increasingly difficult trial, Fathia relies on prayer and the word of God for strength amidst her hardships. She asks for the strength to face whatever destiny awaits her. In her prayers, she asks for Allah’s guidance, performing istikharah, asking to be shown the best path. And with the sacred verses, her choice becomes clear.
On the other hand, Fathia is actually being courted by a man named Reyhan. Reyhan has been pursuing Fathia for some time, not giving up even though she always rejects him. Fathia is actually quite comfortable with Reyhan, but she rejects him because she doesn’t want to date. For her, dating is tantamount to approaching zina, which is forbidden.
Fathia’s mother and her younger brother, Razaq, both agree to reject the forced marriage. However, her father, Syukron, is too insistent, using religious arguments to make his will a reality.
Unfortunately, a promise holds no value for Satya or Fathia’s father. Fathia is married without the consent of Satya’s first wife. Fathia, Ummi, and Razaq accept this with resignation, unable to do anything. Fathia and Satya’s wedding is conducted secretly in a luxurious hotel room, with only family members in attendance. Even so, the news reaches Reyhan, who is told by Razaq. Reyhan is deeply disappointed.
Fathia lives her married life like a mistress; whenever Satya desires her, she is summoned to stay at a hotel. The only thing that keeps Fathia going is her conviction that God will grant her happiness. She is a memorizer of sacred verses, a devoutly religious person. Shouldn’t she receive ease from the Creator?
Unfortunately, what comes is not ease, but a series of difficulties. She resigns herself to God’s decree, she is obedient to her religion, but her trials seem to never stop. They become heavier and more suffocating. How will Fathia’s journey end? Will she find happiness? Will her devotion be rewarded in the best way? Perjalanan Pembuktian Cinta is a story full of lessons, about the beauty of patience and sincerity, and about the strength of faith being tested at its lowest point.
