Iftar Gathering & Launch of the Film TIKET SEHALA

 

 

In conjunction with the arrival of the month of Ramadan, production company Key Billions Sdn. Bhd. organized an iftar event on March 2, 2026. More than just a breaking-of-fast gathering, the event was also enlivened with the launch of the company’s latest film, TIKET SEHALA.

 

Interestingly, the film, directed by Rahila Ali, highlights the issue of victims caught in overseas job scam syndicates. “Tiket Sehala inspired by a true story, which is indeed a global problem. Many Malaysians themselves have fallen victim to these syndicates. It is a work created out of a sense of responsibility to show audiences the impact and consequences of becoming a victim,” she said.

Among the cast members starring in Tiket Sehala are Noki K-Clique, Jaa Suzuran Ainee Mustafa, Zaki Yamani, Sharifah Sakinah, Hasnul Rahmat, Sheila Mambo, Ardell Aryana, Fancy Goh, and Shaharudin Jamaludin (Saha Champ). Notably, the film also features actors from four countries: Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia. These include South Korean actor Hyunjun Sun, Ninja from the Thai boyband SuperThai, and Naufal Samudra from Indonesia.

In addition to introducing the cast, the event was further enlivened by a special robot performance organized by Shadow Combat League.
Meanwhile, the Founder of Key Billions Sdn. Bhd., Eddie Yap, said that the company was interested in producing Tiket Sehala because of the uniqueness of its storyline. “I see that stories about overseas job scam syndicates are rarely produced, even though it is a very serious and alarming issue. So through Tiket Sehala, at the very least, it can raise awareness and encourage individuals to be more cautious if they receive job offers abroad,” he explained.

He added that the film was also shot in South Korea and involved a collaboration between Malaysian and South Korean production crews. “With this collaboration, it provides Malaysian production crews the opportunity to learn something new from international partners, thereby improving the quality of local films in the future,” he said.

 

Robot Shadow Combat League

 

In addition to actively producing films, Key Billions has now expanded its wings with the establishment of Key Billions Distribution. Eddie said that Key Billions Distribution will act as the distributor for films produced by Key Billions, other local films, as well as films brought in from abroad. “Previously, the film Soloz: Game Of Life, which we produced, was handed over to another distributor for cinema release matters. However, for our next film, Tiket Sehala, all distribution matters, including promotions, will be fully managed under Key Billions Distribution,” he said.

 

He further explained that the company is also opening up opportunities to distribute films produced by other production companies. Among them, they have secured the distribution rights for two other films, Gayong 2 and Tarung Unforgiven, which will be released in cinemas soon. “The establishment of Key Billions Distribution also serves as a benchmark showing that weare serious about developing the film industry. In fact, we welcome any producers who wish to use our services to distribute their films,” he added.
