SYNOPSIS

The story revolves around a woman named Che Aminah from Penang, who is considered ‘unlucky’ by her fellow villagers. Married to Ramlee, she is betrayed by him. After their divorce, Che Aminah meets Johan, who gives her a new lease on life. She then learns to read and becomes the first female teacher at a school in Seberang Perak in the 1900s.
